Bio

Kevin Waltman is an instructor at The University of Alabama. He lives in Coker with his wife Jessica Kidd, their daughter Calla, son Holling, dog Bitzer, and cat Little Lady.

His first young adult novel, Nowhere Fast, was published by Scholastic in 2002, and his second, Learning the Game, was published by Scholastic in 2005. He has published short fiction with The Emerson ReviewCT ReviewHunger Mountain, esquire.com, Six Bricks PressPUSH: An Anthology, and Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet.

His most recent work is a young adult series published by Cinco Puntos Press. The titles include Next(2013), Slump (2014), Pull (2016), and Quicks (2017).
