Eric Parker was born and raised in California (Orange, Clovis, Fresno, San Diego). He holds a B.A. in English and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Fresno State, and has been teaching at The University of Alabama since 2010. During his breaks, he spends his time traveling, skateboarding, and writing. His nonfiction can be found in Boneshaker, New South, and Bull; his poetry appears in Hobart, Anderbo, Anamolous, and elsewhere. He is currently working on a nonfiction book project about dioramas, love, loss, and adaptation.
