Jessica Kidd is the Associate Director of the First-year Writing Program and a Clinical/Lecture-Track Faculty member in the Department of English.

She is a lifelong Alabamian with an academic background in Geology and Creative Writing. Her poetry has been published in The Paris Review, Goblin Fruit, Atticus Review, Waccamaw, and other journals. Jessica is interested in speculative literature and her current work focuses on an intersection of Southern environment, family folklore, and speculative elements.
