Carl F. Miller received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2009 and joined the UA Department of English that same year. His primary scholarly interests are in modernism, postmodernism, critical theory, cultural studies, and children's literature. While at UA, he has taught seminars on existential literature, children's literature, and Christianity and literature, in addition to British and American literature surveys and freshman composition. He is also the faculty sponsor for UA's Phi Xi chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society.
