Since earning his B.A. in Psychology and his M.F.A in Creative Writing (from The University of Alabama), Cade has been working as a writer and as an Instructor in the English Department.
He has published two chapbooks, The Dogs of Havana and Lion-froth Crown (Red Hydra Press), as well as publishing poems in a number of literary journals.
His feature-length screenplay, Open, has been a finalist or semifinalist in multiple international competitions, including a Semifinalist performance for the prestigious 2019 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards (among 7,200 entries). OPEN was also rated in the top 1% for scripts submitted for professional coverage (receiving a 'Recommend') from WeScreenplay.
