Jamie Ryan assists students with EN 200- through 400-level course registration questions and issues. She builds the schedule of undergraduate literature, creative writing, linguistics, and technical writing courses each term, and creates sections for directed studies, internships, and honors theses.

Jamie assists the Director and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies and coordinates the advising process for undergraduate English majors. She collects scholarship applications, provides them to the review committee, and processes resulting awards in the scholarship system. She also plans the English Department’s annual Honors Day ceremony in which we recognize our outstanding students’ achievements.

Jamie assists with department financial processes including reviewing expense reports, making deposits, and preparing payroll for undergraduate student employees. She joined the UA Department of English in 2021.
