Judi Montgomery is the English Department’s Building Representative and Technology Coordinator. She places work orders for any building maintenance issues, facilitates renovation projects, and manages a check-out system for department media. She maintains inventory of office supplies for department workrooms, as well as ensures the proper functioning of shared machines such as copiers and high capacity printers.

As Front Office Coordinator, Judi hires, trains, and supervises student workers for the English Department each semester. She oversees and assists with mail and package distribution and manages department listservs. She also schedules room reservations for special events and updates the department’s calendars accordingly. Judi manages keys and access requests for English Department spaces.

Judi is the first point of contact for many phone calls and visitors, and she directs people to the right place to get the assistance they need. She joined the UA Department of English in 2021.
