Merrill Lee Girardeau lives and writes in Birmingham, Alabama: her hometown. She studied poetry at Sarah Lawrence College and has published poems in Prism Magazine. Merrill Lee has instructed a wide range of students in reading and writing skills and joined the University of Alabama faculty in fall 2022.
